Attentive Art began following Sophie’s graduation from Brighton University after she salvaged some frames being thrown out and transformed them with a cut up blanket, emulsion tester pots and leftover sequins and beads. These creations were shown in an exhibition in the old Aldwych tube station in London, and sold half of them in four days.

Following a relocation to the coast and the trials and tribulations of life Sophie found her sense of self had been lost. Following studies of Psychology and Mental Health she began incorporating mindfulness into her everyday life and rediscovered her passion for making art; relishing in the therapeutic impact it held.

Now, she shares this with others through creative workshops, activities and courses.
